Counseling groups provide a safe, supportive space where students learn, practice, and grow together. Through guided activities and discussions, students build skills, reduce barriers, and support academic success.
Counseling groups are solution-based, short-term in nature and meet once a week for 30 minutes during the school day, for a total of 6 to 8 weeks.
Counseling groups are designed to meet diverse student needs, which is why our group focus areas vary. However, the most popular groups are:
Social skills
Friendship skills
Self-management skills
Anxiety management
Self-regulation skills
Anger management
Growth mindset
