I hope everyone had a nice weekend. This week we have a lot going on! Tomorrow (Monday) is an early dismissal at 11:45. Students may "add-on" Earth Day t-shirts/colors with their gym shorts. We have MAP testing on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and our Color Run is Friday! I sent home the Fun Run t-shirts last week. Students should wear their Fun Run t-shirts with gym shorts to school on Friday.

Please return permission slips for our 5/2 field trip ASAP.

ELA: 

We will begin working on vocab unit 14 this week, and our next test will be Friday, 5/3. We will start our next novel The Giver.

Students have a REACH project due on Wednesday, May 1. Directions were sent home last week Students should be finishing up their fiction books and working on their final REACH project. They also have a poem to memorize and recite on May 14, I Wandered Lonely As a Cloud, by William Wordsworth. 

Reminders: Students need to be prepared for class. Thank you for all of the pencil donations. They are greatly appreciated. Please make sure your child has plenty of looseleaf, pencils, red pens, scissors, glue, etc., as listed on the supply list. Students should also be prepared with HW assignments each day. Students may have a small snack during first period. No candy or gum chewing. 

MATH CLASS INFORMATION: **All students should have a calculator (inexpensive) as listed on the MS supply list. One with a square root symbol would be helpful.
