Thank you so much for all the gifts for our Advent Family. We will wrap everything this week. The students had a great time at their Christmas Luncheon on Friday. Thank you to everyone who helped out.

It is hard to believe this is our last week before Christmas! Tuesday is our trip to Goucher College to see A Christmas Carol. Students should wear regular dress uniforms to school.

GENERAL REMINDERS: 

• Students need to be dressed in full winter uniform, including shoes and socks. There should be NO LOGOS on the socks. Spirit-wear is only permitted on gym days (Mondays and Wednesdays.) Skirts should not be rolled. Make-up and perfume are not permitted. Students should be prepared for school with all books and supplies every day. 

• No candy or gum-chewing is permitted in school.

• Students should write down HW daily and check assignment planners at home.

• Please check Powerschool regularly to keep track of grades and/or missing assignments. Students should speak to teachers about missing work.

ELA CLASS:

Students should refer to their HW planners for daily HW assignments.

We are reading A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens this week in class, as well as working on vocab unit 6. Our vocab test will be Wednesday, 12/18.

MATH CLASS INFORMATION: 

Students are expected to be prepared for math class with a math copybook and a math binder, as well as a fully stocked pencil case.

6 Math: drill due Monday

7 Math: drill due Monday

8 Algebra: drill due Monday; Math exam Tuesday, 12/17

Important Dates:

• Tuesday, 12/17: Grade 7 Trip to A Christmas Carol

• Thursday, 12/19: red and green add-ons

• Friday, 12/20: MS students go to ES; early dismissal 11:30; Christmas break begins

• Thursday, 1/2: return to school
