Weekly News

I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend. It is going to be a cold week! Students can wear gym uniforms all week due to the cold temperatures.
It is the mid-point of the trimester. Mid-term grades will be sent home electronically on 1/22. Be sure to check powerschool regularly.
Friday, 1/24, Student Council is sponsoring a donut sale and out-of-uniform day. Donuts are $2 and cost for out-of-uniform is $2.
GENERAL REMINDERS:
Students need to be dressed in full winter uniform, including shoes and socks. There should be NO LOGOS on the socks. Spirit-wear is only permitted on gym days (Mondays and Wednesdays.) Skirts should not be rolled. Make-up and perfume are not permitted.
Students should write down HW daily and check assignment planners at home.
Please check Powerschool regularly to keep track of grades and/or missing assignments. Students should speak to teachers about missing work.
ELA CLASS:
Students should refer to their HW planners for daily HW assignments.
This week we are working on vocabulary unit 8. Our next vocab test will be Friday, 2/7. Our poetry recitation will take place on Wednesday, 1/22. Everyone has their REACH book now and are deciding on a project for their T2 REACH project. Students should see me for more information. The projects are due 2/14.
MATH CLASS INFORMATION:
Students are expected to be prepared for math class with a math copybook and a math binder, as well as a fully stocked pencil case.
