The Make Create Innovate CPD is a hands-on, practical and informative course. The learning content was sent in advance with short videos that gave just the right amount of information to inform the teacher but also allow the teacher to discover solutions independently using a problem solving approach. This also facilitated experimentation while making each project. At the end of each lesson excellent curriculum linked resources were provided.

There was ample integration of creativity and technology through Visual Arts, Design and Make and many other subjects (eg Music, English). The weekly zoom workshops invited teachers to share their experiencse and knowledge about each activity and how it may be adapted to various class levels. As we each shared our projects, we explored the different ways we learn and solve problems as they occur while we are creating. This approach facilitated critical thinking and encourages a growth mindset and kept us motivated to discover new possibilities from week to week. The pace of the programme was good, spending two weeks on each concept but exploring it in more depth during the second week. The materials kit provided was also beneficial and makes each creation stand out with its technology in STEAM! It is a thoroughly enjoyable and informative CPD course which will in turn benefit our pupils in the classroom.
