We started our day off with a nice relaxing fire alarm to wake everybody up. But no worries it was just shower steam! After eating some freshly made cinnamon rolls we quickly circled up for a writing session and then caught a bus to downtown. Once there, we got yummy poke bowls and drinks. We visited a bunch of shops including bookstores and thrift shops and finished with some delicious Coldstone ice cream! After about an hour we headed home to start our homemade pasta. We made the dough, rolled it out, cut it into pieces and threw it in the pot; Commencing the evening with a delightful shared meal we were proud to say was entirely made from scratch. Everyone was sad to be done with the pasta but not too sad because pavlova with fresh berries and airy merangue that awaited us. Finally, we wrapped up the evening with some more writing, chatting, and lots of laughter.
