Our final day in Chicago was the perfect send-off to an unforgettable trip.

We woke up to large crowds filling the streets, as people had gathered to see the river dyed green for St. Patrick’s Day, one of Chicago’s most famous traditions. Making our way through the excitement, we walked to breakfast at Wildberry Pancakes and Cafe, where everyone enjoyed one last meal together before our departure.

After breakfast, we attempted to walk back to the hotel, only to find even bigger crowds gathered along the river. We were able to catch a glimpse of the bright green water, and squeezed through to take a few photos of the celebration. Although navigating through the crowds was a bit challenging, it added to the energy and excitement of the morning.

We were given a little time to explore, but soon learned that the bridge we usually used to get back to the hotel was temporarily closed. We regrouped and found another route, making it back without trouble. Once at the hotel, we finished packing, brought our bags downstairs, and prepared to leave.

By noon, we boarded the shuttle to the airport. After getting through security smoothly, we had some time to grab snacks and relax at the gate before our flight. Just as we were preparing to board, we noticed snow beginning to fall outside, one last goodbye from Chicago before heading back to the California sun.

As our trip came to an end, we left with lasting memories, stronger friendships, and experiences we will not forget.

Thank you so much for giving us such an unforgettable experience during E-Week in Chicago. This trip was truly special, and it would not have been possible without all the time, effort, and care you put into planning and guiding us throughout the week.

From exploring the city and learning about its history, to experiencing amazing activities like the architecture tour, museums, and Hamilton, every moment was thoughtfully organized and meaningful. You made sure we were safe, on schedule, and still able to have fun and enjoy our time together.

We especially appreciate your patience, energy, and willingness to support us throughout the trip. Whether it was navigating busy streets, adjusting plans, or simply making sure everyone was included, your dedication did not go unnoticed.

This trip gave us the opportunity to create lasting memories, strengthen friendships, and experience something truly unique. We are incredibly grateful for everything you did to make E-Week in Chicago such a success.
