Hi parents and family! 

Today in Thailand we continued our work on the concrete project in the morning and finished with plenty of time to spare. After finishing up with the concrete we all took some time to relax before we played a series of relay-race games with the kids at La Salle Sangkhlaburi. (Changing while keeping a balloon in the air, finding an object while blindfolded, etcetera). 

Our day did not end there; we continued on, leaving the school on a trip to a traditional Buddhist temple where we encountered a monk (observing his strict adherence to buddhist principles of not shaking hands or touching) and beautiful buddhist architecture. The great golden Buddha statute overlooking the area was our next stop— where we spent time admiring the stunning statue and taking pictures. 

The final destination of our short journey was the floating bridge where we bought incredibly cheap boba, walked across the bridge, and met stray dogs before we wrapped up our trip and headed back to the school to enjoy a delicious dinner and play Mafia with the Blue Sky girls.
