Now let's make some beautiful, colourful birds using an egg carton. If you don't have an egg carton you could use a paper plate, a cup or anything else you can think of.

You could even just draw or paint a beautiful coloured bird.

Materials required
Materials required
Egg carton. scissors, glue, paint
Feathers, sequins or any other decorative materials.
Cut the top of the egg carton in half for the body.
Cut the top of the egg cups off for the eyes and beak.
2. Paint the body, eyes and beak and set aside to dry.
3. Glue the eyes into the top of the body.
4. Use interesting materials such as feathers and coloured papers to add wings and other decorative features to your bird.
If you have time, glue your bird to a piece of paper and paint some leaves and branches.
