white paper, coloured paper, grey lead, eraser, black and colored markers, glue stick
Draw a head, a straight line body and shoulders and hips as shown.
Draw one on COOL coloured paper and one on WARM .
2. Draw arms and legs, making sure you have elbows and knees for your figure to bend and move.
Think about what action your figure is showing.
3. Draw around the outline of your stick figure to create a thicker figure.
4. Trace around your figures in black and rub out the grey lead stick figure.
5. Fold a piece of A4 paper in half.
6. Cut your figures out and glue one on each side.
8. Draw an outline around the outside of your figure.
9. Continue drawing outlines around your figure leaving a space between the lines for colouring in.
10. Colour in between the lines as shown.
11. Repeat with the other figure on the other side using the opposite colour scheme.
If you don't have coloured paper just draw onto white paper and trace around as shown here.
Why not have some fun and create life size Keith Haring art , either on the ground outside, (don't forget to take a photo for me) or on a large roll of paper.
