Gold Award

To start your Silver Award you have to be aged 16+ years.

We usually launch the Award at the start of Year 12 at Springwood Sixth Form.

It will usually take you at least 12 months to complete your Gold programme.

You will have to spend 12 months doing the volunteering section and another 12 months on one of the other sections - physical or skill, and the other for 6 months. As well as the sections you have to take part in a residential that lasts for 5 days and 4 nights that must be over 50 miles away from your residence and not with friends.
