Mrs. Jessica

Hello! I am Jessica Overstreet and I will be teaching your 2nd graders this year. This is my third year teaching at Forks River. I started out with this same group in kindergarten in 2024 and then I moved to 3rd grade in 2025. I am a Smith County native. I graduated from Gordonsville High School in 2011. I took a different career path, but decided I wanted to educate children. I went back to college and finished my degree online all while raising my family. I am married and I have three children of my own and two step children. Karleigh (14) and Jesse (14) attend Gordosnville High School, Kinslee (11) attends Forks River, Jasmine (9) attends Smithville Elementary, and Walker (4) attends Carthage Elementary. When I am not at school, I am at ballgames watching my kids play sports.
