The Work Based Learning (WBL) program is an elective course that concentrates on employment skills and readiness.  Work Based Learning can prepare students for post-secondary and career opportunities aligned with their chosen elective path.  In Work Based Learning, students are expected to maintain a job placement as well as classroom assignments.  Because some students cannot handle the responsibilities of this program, a number of rules apply in maintaining good standing; and there is always the possibility that a student may be removed from the program and placed in regular classes.

           This program is not open to a student just because he/she wants to leave early.  The student must be responsible enough to organize and manage his/her life, time, and activities. Only students in good standing on grades, attendance, credits passed, and discipline are accepted in this program. The students will be expected to complete weekly work hours reports and turn in bi-weekly assignments in a timely manner.
