Welcome to my classroom! My name is Krissa Hackett, and I am the Transition Case Manager at Smith County High School. I am passionate about helping students develop the academic, social, career, and independent living skills they need to achieve success after high school. My goal is to build meaningful relationships with students and families while helping each student discover their strengths and confidently prepare for their future.
In addition to serving as Transition Case Manager, I am also the Head Volleyball Coach for the Smith County Lady Owls. Coaching allows me to teach many of the same qualities I value in the classroom—hard work, perseverance, teamwork, accountability, and leadership. I believe that every student has the ability to grow when they are encouraged, challenged, and supported.
