The purpose of this model rocket project is to create a level one model rocket out of commercial off the shelf parts for the SEDS 2022 Rocketry Competition. Our two main goals are to create a rocket that reaches a 1000m altitude and to provide Smith College students, of all technical backgrounds, with an opportunity to develop skills and explore their interests in rocket science. We are also a new SEDS club and this is our schools first rocket project.
