Do you like to sing? We are starting a Choir Enrichment Hub! We will sing outside 6ft apart with masks on at Borel middle school at the Basketball Courts with a small group of students after school for 1 hour per week on Fridays from 2-3pm. We will sing songs from the radio, musicals and camp songs. We will be a small group with only 15 students.
The goal of this Choir Enrichment Hub is to bring students together once a week and rejoice in music! This opportunity is open to ANY student grades 6th-8th. You will receive instructions on how to safely participate in this Enrichment Hub and Borel’s on campus safety procedures in a letter prior to the start of the club.
Please complete this Google Form if you are interested. Our first meeting will hopefully be on March 19th and we plan to continue meeting throughout the rest of the school year. Forms must be submitted by March 7th. If you have questions, please contact Ms. Helene Grotans (hgrotans@smfc.k12.ca.us).
While we have loved hosting drama workshops on Zoom (and that will likely still continue throughout the year – check SchoolLoop news for updates!), we are excited to start an in person Borel Drama Enrichment Hub. The goal of this hub is to build community and work on skills to create, perform and participate in improvisations and plays/musicals in person on campus.
This is free and open to all Borel students regardless of experience.
