Standarized Programming
SMEM standardized programs are educational opportunities with secondary certificates received from a national recognizing body (i.e. American Red Cross, Stop the Bleed, etc.). These programs are developed and managed by their association and our program faculty are approved instructors.
SMEM Standardized Programming includes:
CRASE- Citizens Response to active shooter events (ALERRT SYSTEM)
CPR / AED for the Professional Rescuer (CPR-PR)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)
First Aid / CPR / AED
Child / Infant CPR
Foreign Body Airway Obstruction
FAST- First Aid for Severe Trauma
Bloodborne Pathogens
Emergency Oxygen Administration
Asthma Metered Dose Inhaler
Epinephrine Auto-Injector
Narcan Administration through Maryland Harm Reduction Training Institute (MaHRTI)
