Green Screening! Bringing Technology into Your Classroom in a Fun and Creative Way!

Using Greenscreening in the classroom is a great way to get kids excited about virtually any topic. It's also a really great way to work on presentation skills such as public speaking, body language, eye contact, and appropriate speaking tone.

GreenScreening is easy and cost effective. All you need is a recording device and, of course, a green screen! Any green colored backdrop will work for greenscreening. Kids can show off their reading and researching skills with some creative flair! (Ex. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKP2fhVwerg)

You can use computers or iPads to record your students, and there are lots of free or very inexpensive programs and apps that can be used to easily edit and create your innovative, interactive projects!
