Welcome Back!
It's time to dust off those instruments and start getting ready! I can't wait to begin. If you don't have an instrument, don't worry, we have many.
Have a classmate that should join band? Talk to them about what playing opportunities are available for the school year. The Band Room is always looking for more musicians.
Parents....this is for you!
Ever wonder how you can support your student at home? Maybe you never participated in band. That's not necessary to be a huge help to your child. Check out this slide presentation and see what you can do at home to help foster positive growth.
LMS Band Shirts!
We have a variety of sizes in stock. $15 a shirt and show that LMS Band Pride.
We wear these shirts to informal events such as our "First Night for Band" and other informal events.
These are a first come, first serve basis. Extras in smaller sizes available. Larger sizes are being ordered at this time.
Concert Uniforms!
All students will need a tux shirt, blue cummerbund and tie.
We wear these uniforms (with black dress pants) to formal events such as our Concerts and Assessment.
Orders are enroute.
Book This Year
You'll need the following book this year.
6th Grade - Essential Elements Book 1
(if you have one, wonderful!)
7th Grade - Essential Elements Book 2
8th Grade - Essential Technique Book
Percussion Students - Stick Bag with Tympani Mallets, Xylophone Mallets, Drum Sticks, and Yarn Mallets.

First Night for Band
We are the demonstration group for St. Mary's County. Our performance is Thursday, November 7th, 2023
Students Report Time: 5:30pm
Performance Time: : 6:00 pm
Students Attire: Please wear the LMS Gray Shirts
