Mechanicsville Elementary (approximately 300 students)
Elms staff and volunteers provided planning, materials, and instructional support for Mechanicsville Elementary's Green Day in May. One lesson for grades 3 - 5 involved creating a "Lasagna Garden" (see below)

The Elms re-homed two composters received by SMCPS' former Department of Capital Planning with Green School applicant Duke Elementary..

The Elms provided a rain barrel to Sustainable Green School, Oakville Elementary in May 2018.
The Elms provides free Native Plants from our Native Plant Nursery to schools and community organizations.
