We challenge ourselves to share our voices all over the world through International Dot Day, World Read Aloud Day, Poem in Your Pocket Day and just about any other time the chance presents itself! Who said kids cannot change the world?

Students at LMDES have send hundreds of cards to other youngsters who are in the hospital and needing some cheer. They have created postcards through Sending Smiles. Students here have also hand sewn catnip bags for our local feral cat rescue during their indoor recess. Our LMDES students are making change one voice, one pen stroke and one stitch at a time.
