The ACT II Program is a two-year induction program that is coaching-based, grounded in the California Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (CPSEL), and 21st century leadership skills. It combines targeted professional development with individualized mentoring and support. Participating administrators will receive 56 hours of professional development over the two-year course of the program. Professional development will be focused on effective school/district leadership in the 21st century and the specific goals of candidates in the program.
The San Mateo and Santa Cruz County Offices of Education have formed a consortium to provide the Professional Clear Administrative Services Credential Program to current administrators seeking to obtain their Clear Administrative Credential. The San Mateo/Santa Cruz County Offices of Education Clear Administrative Services Credential Program (SM/SC COE Clear Administrative Services Credential Program) is a guidelines-based program that allows preliminary credential holders to clear their administrative credential. The program is designed to prepare high quality administrators through individualized coaching, targeted professional development, one-to-one mentoring, and structured assessment and reflection. Candidates who have completed all program requirements and demonstrate mastery of the CPSEL will be recommended for the Clear Administrative Services Credential.
