ACT II Program

ACT II Program Purpose

The ACT II Program is dedicated to the development of high quality leaders who provide rigorous educational programs for all students.

The ACT II Program delivers an interconnected and comprehensive curriculum which integrates face-to-face professional development sessions, field experiences, cohort professional learning communities, and integrates a blended learning model through the use of technology. The curriculum is based on the California Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (CPSEL) and is designed for candidates to demonstrate the ability to meet or exceed each of the standards as outlined in the candidate self-assessment.

ACT II Program Supports

• One-on-one individualized mentoring (40 hours a year)
• Individualized Leadership Growth Plan (leadership goals and action plan)
• Professional Learning sessions based on the CPSEL and directly actionable for leaders
• Individual choice for additional professional learning related to leadership goals
• Network of administrators throughout the county in a Cohort model
• Online resources available through blended learning model
• Creation of a portfolio of leadership evidence, artifacts and growth reflections
