Artist's Bio

I attended Parsons School of Design, majoring in Illustration and also completed my art teaching credential concurrently at Bank Street College of Education, also in NYC. I became a free-lance illustrator for the next several years, also teaching design and illustration at a small art college in Israel called the Ramat Gan College of Art and Sculpture. I then moved to San Francisco and started teaching in SFUSD, where I taught art in the middle school and then high school level. I have been at Carlmont High School since 2007. I consider myself a life-long artist and teacher and feel blessed that I can do both. I currently live in Pacifica and have 2 daughters, 2 ugly, but cute, dogs and one very fat cat.
