St. Mary's students play an essential role in developing, implementing, and running Kate Farm projects, partnerships, and initiatives. Our student farm team is made up of two, interlocking components working closely together.
The Kate Farm Management Co-op (The Co-op) is a group of seasoned farmers and food system change agents who have volunteered or worked at the farm for at least one semester.
The Co-op works with the seasonal Kate Farm Intern Crew (The Crew) to achieve our mission and motto: "To grow good food and community."
