The link above provides access to EMBARC. This is a website that contains short videos teaching lessons from the Eureka Math curriculum used at John Muir Middle School. In addition, it has summaries and other resources that can help, too. To find the right video please follow these steps:

  1. Click the link above.
  2. Select appropriate grade level.
  3. Select current Module. (Can be found on the cover of the textbook.)
  4. Select lesson desired. (Can be found in calendar or the top of each page in textbook)

The links above provide access to the Eureka Math homework helpers. These texts provide problems similar to homework assigned out of the student's textbook. Not only does it show steps, but it also describes why the process works. To find the right homework help please follow these steps:

  1. Click the appropriate grade level link above.
  2. Select the current Module. (Can be found on the cover of the textbook.)
  3. Scroll through the document to locate the lesson that corresponds to homework.
    • Example: G7-M1-Lesson 5 means Grade 7 Module 1 Lesson 5
  4. Use the examples and reasoning to attempt your homework problems.

The links above provide access to the Eureka Math parent tip sheets. These provide a general overview and ways to help at home. To find the correct tip sheet follow these steps:

Great Minds (Eureka Math) Website

This is the website for the math curriculum used at John Muir Middle School. Guardians/students can create an account to access the curriculum/textbook for FREE download.

The link above contains many of the already mentioned sites/pages, plus more; Khan academy, Zearn, and Compass Learning can all be used to further student success.

General help is before school, break, lunch or after school for any item you are unsure about.

Late homework is accepted up until the last week of the quarter. Homework club is Wednesday after school at 2:05-2:30

Students may retake problems from any test or quiz in the quarter. Make-ups are done on Tuesday at 3:05-4:00. Students must remember to bring their old test so I can make sure they understand what mistake they made.
