Verizon uses The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) in its Enterprise Architecture (EA) to improve business efficiency and customer-centricity. The company's Verizon Business Group (VBG) implemented a program called North Star to consolidate its EA and transform Verizon into a more customer-focused organization. TOGAF played a crucial role in this transformation by enabling seamless collaboration between business partners, product owners, and development teams across various project phases. These phases included requirements gathering, architecture design, solution identification, business process flow validation, system changes/enhancements, configuration update, and deliverables management.
