At the request of SLU faculty, and as part of our Academic Strategic Plan, Saint Louis University has launched a multi-year, multi-phased initiative to bring greater consistency and equity to the evaluation of teaching.
This initiative focuses on aligning our teaching evaluation practices with the literature on effective, responsible evaluation -- which means much more than student evaluations. Ultimately, the project will help SLU better define, document, enhance, evaluate, and recognize effective teaching in meaningful ways that align with our institutional identity.
