Hi, my name is Gabriela Mauro and I am excited to be serving as Overground’s Art Enrichment Chair this year! I have been a part of this organization since my second semester freshman year and have been a part of Art Enrichment since it began my sophomore year. Being a part of Overground has allowed me to make connections with so many wonderful people and it has educated me in ways that extend beyond our meetings. Listening to the needs of our community partners and giving students time to reflect while expressing themselves through their artwork has given me so much insight into their lives. I especially love the opportunities Art Enrichment has given me to be a leader by sharing my love of art with students. I look forward to another year of building relationships with those in the St. Louis community!
