Social/Community Worker, David Kawanuka founded Let The Girl Be-Uganda (LEGIBE) in May, 2022 after seeing what many young girls in Mukono District go through. LEGIBE operates in the rural areas of Lake Victoria's shores, where men take advantage of vulnerable girls who don't go to school due to lack of tuition, and they exploit them! After a careful consultation from the local leaders, David started a nonprofit organization to help these girls.
