Helping Our Own
Helping Our Own, funded by employees of Saint Louis University to benefit employees of Saint Louis University, was created to offer that assistance. This program provides a one-time monetary gift to any full-time or part-time permanent SLU employee experiencing a valid financial crisis. Eligibility for assistance requires at least one year of employment with the University.

Antivirus software is the best defense against malware and other online threats to your devices. Keeping that software updated is also very important, as new risks and security vulnerabilities are discovered daily. It is best to use software that scans your device to find and remove potential threats. Avast is an excellent free solution for both PC and Mac users.

DPS - Bike Registration and Free U-locks
Did you know DPS will provide a free bike lock (U-Lock) to those who bring their bicycles to the DPS office in Wool Center and register them in the system. Registering your bicycle with them allows DPS to return any lost and recovered bikes to their original owners.
Also available through DPS is assistance with Vehicle Jump Starts, Lock-outs, and Safe Medication Disposal.

Billiken Bucks
Did you know you can get an extra 10% in your Billiken Bucks account?
SLU faculty and staff members can load funds onto their cards via mySLU and receive a 10% bonus. SLU faculty/staff Flex is accepted at all DineSLU locations on campus. Funds never expire, and you may close your account at any time by submitting your request in writing.
Billiken Bucks is a debit account that can be used for purchases at the Campus Bookstore, for printing, vending machines, as well as the Instructional Media Center. In addition, Billiken Bucks can be used at all Dining locations on campus and various off campus locations.
