Our language arts program, Fundations, introduces students to the alphabet using a set of anchor pictures for each letter.   Our study will focus on a few  alphabet letters per week throughout the year. We do not study the alphabet letters in order, instead commonly used letters are introduced first, followed by less common letters and those which might be more difficult to enunciate. I have provided copy of the letters along with the anchor pictures. The children should know the name of the letter and the sound that it makes. The anchor picture will help them to know the correct letter sound.
