Hello kindergarten students and families. I am so excited we have the chance to learn, grow, and play together! Kindergarten is a very exciting year and we will travel this journey together. 

This will be my 20th year as a teacher with the Southern Lehigh School District. I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Slippery Rock University and my master's degree in Special Education from DeSales University.  I have taught first and second grade as well as being an intervention teacher and technology teacher. I have been the full day kindergarten teacher. This year I am exciting to be teaching kindergarten in the half day model. 

When I am not at school, I love to spend time with my family. Mr. Hovis and I have two children: Owen & Isabel. We enjoy traveling, the  beach, Disney, swimming, camping, playing in our woods, learning new things together, and playing with our pup, Dottie.
