What is TSIA2
The Texas Success Initiative Assessment 2.0 (TSIA2) is a series of placement tests for students enrolling in public colleges and universities in Texas. These tests help schools determine if the student is ready for college-level courses in the areas of reading, writing, and math. Â
Date: Given throughout the year
Who: Any student considering dual credit or any student enrolled or who have completed Algebra II and English III.
*Seniors planning to attend a community college or 4-year university will need a TSIA2 score that meets the state minimum standard in order to take college level courses unless a SAT examemption score is made.
Students can test on campus on one of the designated test days. Students must sign up the week before each test day on the sign-up sheet by the clipboard in the cafeteria.
