How To Unblock YouTube Videos for Students

Follow the steps below to approve a YouTube video for students.

1. Open www.youtube.com

2. Sign in with your school Google account (if not already.) You can do so by clicking on Sign In in the top right corner. If you are signed in, you will see your account profile image in the top right of the screen.

3. Search for the video you want to allow.

Under the video, there will be information that either says this video is approved or there will be an Approve button.

⭐️Important ⭐️

Before you approve a video, please vet it! Once approved, it will log that you approved the video for use in the SKSD domain, and all students and staff will have access to the video.

If you want to show a clip or watch it yourself, DO NOT APPROVE THE VIDEO! You only need to approve videos that students need to open themselves.
