GetHelp (IT Support)


The Technology Department uses a work order system called, GetHelp for all technology help requests. Staff & students have a shortcut on their school-issued desktop\laptop to access the GetHelp ticket system. You can also call 401-360-1303 if you need assistance or have any questions.



GetHelp Instructions


      1. Sign into GetHelp using your Gmail sign-in credentials

      2. First-time users will be asked to enter their student or staff ID number

If you do not know this, just click on I do not have this information and you can proceed

      1. Next, if your issue is associated with the laptop or iPad that is assigned to you, you will have an opportunity to initiate a ticket straight from the icon of the device or you can just proceed to +Create Ticket

        1. If no device icon appears, your device is not assigned to you in our inventory system. Please put in a ticket including the service tag number and the name of the person the device should be assigned to and we will add that

        2. Alternatively, if a device is assigned to you and you do not have that device, please let us know

      2. +Create Ticket

        1. Then Technology Department button

        2. Select a Problem Type from the multiple categories provided

          1. Note: some problem types will have subcategories for you to select

          2. Complete required entries and any additional information you can provide

            1. Your summary must be 10 or more characters

            2. Please provide as much information as possible

            3. Make sure to include your site from the drop-down (building location) and room number if applicable

        3. If your ticket is laptop or iPad related, please bring the device to the front office for Tech to collect

          1. Remember to complete and affix the SKSD Laptop/iPad Service Request to the device for identification.

Important Note: GetHelp is linked to school Google domain accounts only. This means that outside users will not be able to access it.
