Students in grades 3- 12 use Google Classroom as their digital learning platform. This platform incorporates Google's core products (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, etc.) so students can access everything they need for a class, including homework assignments, group projects, files, etc. Google Classroom is part of Google's Workspace for Education (formerly called G Suite)
The best way to learn about Google Classroom is to have your child sign in and show you their classes and their activities.
How to Keep Up with Assignments
Watch this short video to see how students can quickly and easily view all assignments and missing work.
Parents and guardians can provide an email address to teachers and ask to be included in Guardian Email Summaries. The email messages provide announcements, assignments, missing work, and upcoming work.
If you would like more information, read this article from the Classroom Help center.
To protect student privacy, parents and guardians may not join Google Classroom as a student.
Ask your child to click the Google Calendar link (found under the Classwork tab). All assignments that have a due date will automatically appear on the student's Google Calendar.
