My name is Jessica Murphy, and I am the art teacher at Skaneateles Middle School. A proud graduate of Skaneateles Central School, I have been part of the district's art education team for over 20 years, demonstrating my commitment and dedication to the school and its students.  

My teaching philosophy is to enhance students' critical thinking skills through studying the Elements of Art and Principles of Design, improving technical skills, and fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. This emphasis on inclusivity is designed to make all students feel welcomed and valued, contributing to a positive learning experience.
