Getting involved and making a difference is simple!

The SALT Coordinator will be in touch with all the specific details & information you’ll need to take your next steps and start your service journey.

We recognize that every family has a different schedule, which is why we offer a wide range of opportunities. The bolded service opportunities below are priorities. The weekly Wolfpack News email will also feature any urgent needs, so please watch for those announcements too.

We have many ways to serve through the year - to support our primary fundraising efforts, though, we strongly encourage you to dedicate a significant portion of your service hours to the school fair and fall auction.

*Required background check via Washington Conference (Sterling Volunteers), video training, and volunteer agreement. See the SAA office for more information on the background check process.

On Campus*

Recess supervision

After-school work supervisor

Hot lunches (food prep and service)

Pick up hot lunch (Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays)

Community Service Director (ideas and scheduling 1 each quarter)

Assembly speaker (short 30 minute talk about your job/career, incredible trips, etc. - Monday mornings)

Teach an elective (Tues or Thurs, for 9 weeks)

Tutoring

SAT study club

Campus beautification

Grounds maintenance (mowing lawn, etc.)

Kitchen cleaning

Fish tank maintenance (science lab)

Robotics club

Mission trip fundraising

Picture day (directing students)

Graduation assistance (Juniors & 7th grade class)

Guest lecturer

Adopt a flower bed to maintain

Adopt a school vehicle to keep clean and/or maintain

After Hours*

Coaching - Middle School Basketball (boys team, Winter)

Coaching - High School Flag Football (co-ed, Spring)

Sports referees

Auction (set up, decorating, food service, clean up)

Timberwolf Country Fair (set up, decorating, booth set-up, clean up)

Scorekeeping at sports games

Sports games set up & take down

Field trip chaperone

Summer work bee

Campus beautification

Kitchen cleaning

Music concerts (set up, decoration, stations, clean up)
