In this blended activity, participants will perform an oratorio in Türkiye to draw attention to the effects of environment and climate change on tangible cultural heritage.
The events will be held between 07-11/04/2025. The events will last 5 days.
2 teachers and 3 disadvantaged students from each country will participate.
In this mobility, the project activities are designed to foster inclusion and provide equal learning opportunities for disadvantaged students facing social, economic, physical, geographical, and educational barriers, as well as those at risk of dropping out. Through engaging group activities, we aim to boost their self-confidence and encourage greater social participation and cohesion. These activities will also help students explore future goals and professions, potentially raising their educational aspirations and skill levels.
Furthermore, the project will enhance students' socialization and social sharing with peers from diverse backgrounds, emphasizing creativity. Utilizing seminars, field trips, practical applications, analysis, and discussions, the activities will also develop their problem-solving skills. For students with limited travel opportunities, this project will cultivate cultural empathy and improve social and cultural relations with peers from other countries.
The project's focus on the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of UNESCO World Heritage Cities and environmental education will raise awareness and build both theoretical and practical skills. Finally, by delivering presentations in English and utilizing WEB2 tools for digital content creation, the activities will significantly improve participants' foreign language proficiency and digital skills.
