At SJSU, individuals can schedule an appointment with an immigration attorney from Immigrant Legal Defense (ILD), a nonprofit agency dedicated to providing immigration legal services. ILD’s mission is to promote justice through the provision of legal representation to under-served immigrant communities. ILD serves students, staff, faculty & families at CSU campuses in the Central Valley, Central Coast, and Bay Area.
Translation services in almost every language are available upon request.

Project Sentinel's Fair Housing Center provides education and counseling to community members, housing providers, and tenants about fair housing laws. [They] also investigate complaints and advocate for those who have experienced housing discrimination. Project Sentinel has three independent departments.
