The San José State University School of Information prepares individuals for careers in the information professions. Graduates work in diverse areas, such as information governance, user experience design, digital asset management, health informatics, information architecture, electronic records management, and librarianship. Programs include: Master of Library and Information Science, Teacher Librarian Services Credential, Master of Archives and Records Administration, MS in Informatics, Advanced Certificate in Digital Assets, Post-Master’s Certificate in Library and Information Science, and Open Classes. Engineering Extended Studies office has been offering advanced degree programs since 1996. We offer public, non-corporate programs are designed for working professionals and offered at SJSU main campus. Students earn SJSU master’s degree in little over two years. All EES degree programs are offered through Special Session. They are academic programs provided to matriculated students on a self-support basis.
