Miserable – very unhappy or uncomfortable.
Weathertight – sealed so wind and rain can’t get in.
Gorge – a deep, narrow valley with steep sides.
Wuffling – making a soft, blowing or snorting sound (like an animal sniffing).
Seepage – slow leaking of liquid through small holes or cracks.
Slithering – sliding or gliding smoothly, like a snake.
Segment – a part or piece of something.
Gestures – movements of hands or body to show meaning or feelings.
Smolder – to burn slowly without flames.
Enormous – very, very big.
Snaggly – uneven, rough, or sticking out awkwardly.
Emerged – came out or appeared.
Primitive – simple or old-fashioned; not advanced.
Fuselage – the main body of an airplane.
Infuriating – making someone very angry.
Fashioned – made or shaped something.
Corrosive – able to slowly eat away or destroy something (like rust or acid).
Thrashing – moving wildly or violently.
Deafening – extremely loud.
Wreckage – the broken remains of something destroyed.
