May 21, 2024: The Class of 2028 Mission Walk commenced on Tuesday, May 21. The fourth grade students were able to explore the wonders of the Mission Walk, as the previous classes had experienced just a few years ago, and maybe a long time ago!
The students started the Mission Walk at around 10:00 AM. The course was swift, spectacular and absolutely beautiful, cutting through the backside of the Old Mission Church and even through the olive grove around the school campus.
All grades and classes came out to support the Class of 2028, and a few supporters from recess also pulled through and cheered on, as they jogged past the buzzing crowd. Siblings ran with their younger and older 4th grade brothers and sisters, and some might have opted out.
Everybody had a fun time cheering them on, and the runners must have also had a blast as well! Our 4th grade teacher, Mr. Shane Graham, also jogged with the siblings and his class.
The Mission Walk 2024 was an amazing experience for all classes who were cheering and running. Good job 4th graders! We hope you had such an amazing time. Thank you to the 4th Grade parents for their support and hard work.
We hope this tradition will go on, and thousands of thousands of students may experience the beautiful sights, smells, and fun of the Mission Walk!
