ASPIRE

Philosophy

ASPIRE is a small learning community with an emphasis on authentic learning within the community and the development of employment skills. This high school program is designed to support progress toward graduation and expose students to available career pathways in our community.

Background

The ASPIRE program is a drop-out prevention program for the St. Joseph School District. The goal is to provide students with skills to obtain a high school diploma and with the skills they need to be successful later in life.

The curricula will have a focus on a problem-based inquiry driven learning approach that requires students to identify and solve real world issues, therefore allowing students to hone the skills necessary to function in a workplace environment.
