Wednesday April 15 2026 

6:30 PM at the HS Auditorium 

Hello 5th Grade Families,

         The fifth graders have been hard at work for their ukulele performance on Wednesday, April 15. Our night performance will be on April 15th at 6:30 p.m. at St. Joseph High School. This performance is open to the public, so please invite anyone you’d like to come! For this performance, it is themed Disney so students are welcome to dress as a character, in any “Disney wear” or just something nice for the stage. For the evening performance, please have you and your student arrive at 6:20.

       Another school performs before Lincoln this year, please wait to enter the auditorium until they have finished. Once the doors are open students should stay with their grownups, and take a seat in the auditorium. I will be calling classes up on stage in the performance hall.    Thank you so much for all your support. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me or your student’s teacher. I look forward to seeing you all on April 15th!

**On April 14th we will have our practice performance during the day at school. If your student has their own ukulele, it would be helpful if they could bring it to school for all rehearsals.

Scene 1: 

• Paden Kid 1: It’s finally here! The day we’ve been counting down on the calendar for months!

• Zion Kids 2: Did you pack the ears? The snacks? Extra water!?

• Ruby Kid 3 : We have everything! I’m so excited to see all of the entertainment! 

• Andrew Kid 4: Me too! I heard the new zootopia show is amazing. I want to go there first! Next stop… the most magical place on Earth!

• Scene 2: Zootopia (6 Lines)

• Aurbree Kid 5: Here we are in Animal Kingdom! I heard they were making a Bluey exhibit! And with the new Zootopia movie there is a whole new ride! 

• Lyla Judy Hopps: Welcome to Zootopia! Where anyone can be anything! And I’m going to try my hardest to be the best rabbit officer there ever was! 

• Micah Nick Wilde: Easy there, Carrots. It’s a big city, we are a team and better together!

Scene 3: The Lion King (6 Lines):

• Zoey Kid 6: While we are at Animal Kingdom we have to see the Lion King show! Look here they come! 

• Ensley Simba: (Practicing a roar) I’m gonna be a mighty king, so enemies beware!

• Kingsley ZaZu: "Well, I've never seen a king of beasts with quite so little hair”

• Jack: Timon : Forget the rules, kid!

• Ava:  Pumbaa: It’s "Hakuna Matata" time!

• Aada : Nala: Come on, Simba! We have a kingdom to explore!

• Indie Kid 7: Oh, we better grab our seats, the show is starting.

Scene 4: Toy Story (8 lines)

• Lainey Kid 8: Next on our list to do is Hollywood studios! The toy story world I heard makes you feel like you are the size of a toy! 

• Camden Kid 9: Wow, look at the giant set Uno cards!  Oh look, here come the toys now! 

• Luke Woody: (Freeze-frame, then moves) Everyone, the kids are gone! We're clear!

•  Nash Buzz: (Looking at his wrist) To infinity and beyond! I’ve detected strange life forms in the kitchen!

• Molly Rex: (Shaking) Is it a dinosaur? I don't think I can handle another dinosaur!

• Caidence: Jessie: YEE-HAW! Let’s get moving, toys!

• Laylanna Bo Peep: Stay together, everyone. No toy gets left behind.

• Reagan Slinky Dog: You guys are the best, you know you’ve always got a friend in me.

• Clementine Kid 10 : Before we leave Hollywood studios we have to go to the new Star Wars world! 

• Cali Kid 11: Yes! We need to ride that new one, Rise of the Resistance!

• Wyatt: Kid 12 Oh yeah I heard  that Kylo Ren follows you around the ride! 

• Connor  Kid 13: But you know what I really hope we see, I would love to see Darth Vader!

Scene 5: The Greatest Showman 

• Ella Kid 14: This trip has been so fun but we can’t end our trip without going to Magic Kingdom. We can see the castle or go to the new Tron ride! 

• Claudia Kid 15: Yeah, but I want to go on a classic ride like Dumbo! Lets head towards the circus

• Livi Kid 16: You know they have this big circus tent in Magic Kingdom but they don't have a ride for my favorite Disney movie; The Greatest Showman. 

• Sarina: Barnum: Ladies and Gentlemen! This is the moment you’ve waited for!

• Lolly : Lettie: We are who we are meant to be! This is us! And this is me!

Scene 6: Lilo & Stitch 

• Levi  Kid 17: Wow Magic Kingdom was awesome. Do you think we have time to find Lilo and Sitch? I’ve always wanted to learn to surf. 

• Gabby : Lilo: (Holding Stitch’s hand) "Ohana" means family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten.

• Kim Kid 18: It’s been a long trip, but the best part is having this experience together

Scene 7: Epcot 

Reed Kid 19: Wow, this place is so cool. It's like taking a trip around the world in only one day! 

Jaia Kid 20: Right, we’ve seen The Nemo Show, been on the Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, and then went on my favorite Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind!

Myles Kid 21: Yes, it's been truly magical but you know what I think I'm ready to go home. 

Spencer Kid 22: You know what, I know the perfect song for us to sing on our trip home, Country Roads. It's not really about our home St. Joseph MI but It's still a good one.
