Final End-of-Year Task [Graded]

In groups of 3-4 members, create a one minute video. It must follow one of the following formats:

An infomercial for a life changing product
A film trailer for a life changing event
A publicity campaign video to encourage lifestyle changes

Assessment Criteria:

Technical Control (i.e. transitions, camera angles, composition of scenes)
- Are there smooth transitions?
- What exciting and interesting camera angles are there?
- How are your scenes composed differently or do they all look the same?
Aesthetic Qualities (i.e. use of Visual & Audio Effects to enhance meaning-making)
- Does your video use visuals (e.g. light, overlaid images, pattern, colour) to convey a feeling or an idea?
- Does your soundtrack use sounds to create an atmosphere?
Clarity & Coherence
- Is your video persuasive?
