Seesaw is similar to google classroom and is used to push out assignments to students along with tracking, monitoring, and providing feedback to the students work and progress. Seesaw can be especially helpful with special education classrooms as teachers can send out assignments to students that align with their IEPs. Students can showcase their learning through pictures, drawings, writings and more. Parents can also track their children’s progress, feedback, and progress levels. 

GoNoodle is used to having a brain break by doing physical activities and engaging in movement. GoNoodle provides a variety of interactive activities that emphasize fun, dancing, and mindfulness videos. Many teachers and parents use this app to get out energy, increase attention and focus and to prioritize both physical and mental well-being. This will be used in my classroom to engage, motivate and create healthy habits. 

Prodigy Math can help reinforce and practice math skills through interactive and engaging activities. The game adjusts to the students math level and provides skills and games to work on the skills that the student struggles with. As students play they work towards getting points to upgrade their character which motivates them to keep working on their math skills. Both Teachers and parents can track the progress level of the students and skills that need improvement.  

Freckle is an application which is primarily centered on math and english but also includes other subjects like science and social studies.  Freckle is especially helpful when it comes to practicing and reinforcing students math skills. Freckle adjusts to each individual students skill level and then provides specific content, quizzes, games, and activities that fit with each individual student. As a teacher, I can assign different tasks for each child depending on their comprehension and skill levels and actively see their progress.  Freckle is fun and engaing for students which keeps them motivated to keep playing!

 IXL offers thousands of activities that are adapted to each individual student. IXL helps students master curriculum concepts and improve upon struggling concepts. IXL uses data analytics to tailor lessons and activities to the students strengths and weaknesses. As a teacher, IXL will be used to monitor students progress, strengths and areas that need improvement. This way I can intervene immediatley and work on the concepts that the students are falling short on. 

NewsEla is an application that provides stories about current events and several different topics at the reading level of each individual student. It helps improve students' reading comprehension, vocabulary, reading level and more! It also provides quizzes, check for understanding, and writing prompts all used to make sure the student is comprehending the content. As a teacher, I will use this to monitor students progress, reading level, and reading comprehension. 

Epic is an app that provides thousands of free books, audiobooks, and educational videos to students at their reading level! It has a variety of genres and is adapted to each child's personal likes and dislikes. As a teacher, this is a great resource for students to work on their reading skills, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. This can be done by practice, reading comprehension checks, quizzes, games and activities all indvidualized by the teacher and provided through Epic. 

Remind is a communication app that will be used to communicate effectively and efficiently between parents and I. Remind is an easy way to reach parents and be able to send out quick and efficient reminders about class activities, homework, and live updates! The purpose of remind is to be able to easily communicate with parents and this can be used to help support the students by making sure the parents are interconnected on what we are doing in school versus outside of school.

ClassDojo is a communication application that is used to create a network of communication between students, parents, and teachers. This app allows teachers to share updates, notes, and notifications efficiently to both students and parents through words, images, and videos! This allows parents to be actively involved in knowing what is going on at school which creates a collaborative environment. Students can earn points by engaging in good behavior and habits which motivates them to work their best!
