St. John Fisher University

As an independent institution in the Catholic tradition of American higher education, St. John Fisher University emphasizes the liberal arts, offering programs in traditional academic disciplines as well as more directly career-oriented fields.

The University is composed of five schools: the School of Arts and Sciences; the School of Business; the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. School of Education; the Wegmans School of Nursing; and the Wegmans School of Pharmacy. Each school is accredited by regional, national, and/or international accrediting bodies.

Fisher offers undergraduate majors in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, business, education, and nursing, as well as several pre-professional programs. The University also offers a variety of master's and doctoral programs.

As noted in our 2021/2022 Common Data Set, St. John Fisher University enrolls 3,549 students, including both full-time and part-time students at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels. The University employs 428 faculty, with an almost even mix of full-time and part-time instructors.

Fisher is located in Rochester, NY. The campus is situated on 164 park-like acres—a beautiful setting for a warm, friendly campus community.
