The YEL Leadership program is a year-long youth leadership program that supports high school students with becoming school leaders for change by educating school communities, inspiring civic responsibility and innovating solutions towards a more sustainable future.
High School Sophomores and Junior students may be nominated for the leadership program.
Applications Due: 8/24/2025
The program will run through the 2025-26 school year and will consist of both in-person and virtual events. Students selected for the program will be committing to attend and actively participate in the activities and events related to the program.
The following are anticipated dates, but are subject to change as needed:
September 26-28, 2025 | YEL Leadership Retreat | 3 days, 2-night retreat at Sky Mountain Outdoor Education Center

If you are interested in nominating a high school Sophomore or Junior or you are a student who would like to participate in the leadership program.
Talk to your high school contact (counselor, teacher etc.) and express your interest in participation.
High School contact will complete the nomination form.
All selected students will be announced on or before September 3rd, 2024.
