Ecowriting from Nature, 10/4/25, CREEC
Mother Nature
I am older than all things living
If you listen to me closely, you can hear my songs
Joyous melodies that bring peace to all
I change with the wind, I change with the tides, I change with the seasons..Will I change beyond recognition?
I care for all living things.
I do so unassumingly and without the need for recognition.
Sometimes it is thankless but that is who I am.
I am alive. I am with you, for you, and all around you.
See me, hear me, touch me.
I care for all
I connect everything - the living and the non -living
I am the protector.
I am fragile, yet resilient
I am used and exploited for those who do not recognize me
I am without boundaries and thrive with diversity
I am a giver of all things life.
My lungs breathe,
My heart beats,
My brain thinks,
I am you,
And you are me.
We are all.
