This artifact is a presentation on web accessibility created for faculty and staff training at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. It was chosen to display my knowledge about creating accessible webpages. It informs the learners while including interactive components to keep learners engaged. This presentation was developed years ago and shows my development in the program when compared to other presentation artifacts in the portfolio. This artifact satisfies standard 4.3, “Make use of a project plan to manage resources, produce deliverables, and meet deadlines” (International Society for Performance Improvement, 2017). The presentation taught me how to provide vital recipients with information about a legally mandated topic while taking an informative approach to benefit leaners. For improvement, I will add a feedback evaluation component to gain new insights from participants to ensure the most efficient and effective methods for teaching the topic. Additionally, I will continue to research methods for teaching this topic without lecturing or being too “preachy” about the topic as sometimes my passions come out as accusatory, which is not the intent.
